What is the Anime Video Generator?

What anime styles are available?
We currently support five curated styles: Makoto Shinkai-inspired (painterly, cinematic), Studio Ghibli-inspired (warm, hand-drawn), Akira/cyberpunk (neon, kinetic), modern cel-shaded (clean, contemporary) and chibi (cute, super-deformed). You can swap styles in one click and re-render the same scene to compare.
Are the voices in Japanese?
Yes — and English too. We offer 20+ AI voice actors in Japanese (with authentic intonation) and 20+ in English. You can also export with JP audio + EN subs (the classic sub experience) or a full EN dub.
Does the tool compose original music?
Yes. Our AI composes an original OST that matches the mood and pacing of your scene — piano for slice-of-life, synthwave for cyberpunk, orchestral for battle scenes. No licensing headaches, royalty-free for commercial use on paid plans.
How long is each generated short?
Most generated shorts run between 30 and 90 seconds, depending on how detailed your scene prompt is. You can chain multiple prompts to build a longer episode, scene by scene.
How long does generation take?
Most shorts render in under 90 seconds. Highly detailed scenes with multiple characters can take 2–3 minutes. You'll see live progress while the AI animates frame by frame.
Can I use my own characters?
On paid plans, you can upload reference images of your original characters (OCs) and ClipNova will keep their appearance consistent across scenes — perfect for fanfic, manga adaptations and serialized shorts.
What aspect ratios are supported?
9:16 for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. 16:9 for YouTube and traditional anime exports. 1:1 for Instagram feed. Pick before generating, or re-render later for a different platform.
What does it cost?
Each generated short consumes credits from your account. Free accounts get an initial pool of credits to test the tool. Paid plans start at a few cents per minute of generated anime — orders of magnitude cheaper than commissioning a studio.
Can I edit the anime after generation?
Yes. After generation, you get full editor access: trim scenes, swap the voice cast, change the OST, adjust pacing, regenerate key frames and re-render variants in under a minute.
Do I own commercial rights to what I generate?
On paid plans, yes — you own commercial rights to every anime short you generate. You can publish it on monetized YouTube channels, sell it as a pitch deck or use it in promotional material for your manga / VN / game.
Is this different from typical AI image generators?
