Last updated June 8, 2026. The agreement that covers how you use ClipNova: written so a human can actually read it.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ClipNova ("we", "our", "us") covering your use of clipnova.io, the ClipNova waitlist, and any beta product we make available to you (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you're using it on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
When ClipNova launches and you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us at contact@clipnova.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
You retain ownership of anything you upload to the Service (prompts, scripts, brand assets, source media, your "Input") and you own the videos, audio and other media the Service generates from your Input ("Output").
You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and display your Input and Output only as needed to run the Service for you. We won't use your Input or Output to train shared AI models without your explicit, opt-in consent.
You agree not to use the Service to generate or distribute content that: is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, depicts minors in any sexualised context, impersonates a real person without consent, contains malware, harasses or threatens others, or attempts non-consensual deepfakes.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.
Until ClipNova launches, the Service is free and access is invite-only via the waitlist. Once paid plans go live, pricing, billing cycles and refund terms will be set out at sign-up and incorporated by reference into these Terms. We'll always tell you the price before you pay.
We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but it's provided "as is". To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
AI-generated outputs can occasionally be inaccurate or unsuitable for a specific use. You are responsible for reviewing Output before publishing or relying on it.
To the extent permitted by law, ClipNova is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or €50 if you haven't paid us.
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data via contact@clipnova.io. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk. Sections that should reasonably survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) will survive termination.
We may update these Terms occasionally. If a change is material, we'll let waitlist and account members know by email before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state where ClipNova is established. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
