Use ClipNova inside ChatGPT or Claude

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Go back to Apps & Connectors and click Create.
  3. Name it ClipNova, paste the link, choose OAuth, then click Create.
  4. Log in to ClipNova and click Allow.

In a chat, click +, pick ClipNova, and ask for your video.

Claude

  1. Open Customize → Connectors.
  2. Click Add → Add custom connector.
  3. Name it ClipNova, paste the link, then click Add.
  4. Click Connect, log in to ClipNova and click Allow.

Ask Claude for your video in any chat.

Ask for a video

  • “Make a 2-minute documentary video about the fall of the Roman Empire for YouTube, with Brian's voice and captions.”
  • “Make a 45-second TikTok with 5 creepy facts about the deep ocean, a deep voiceover and bold Hormozi captions.”
  • “Make a 1-minute 3D cartoon story about a little dragon who is afraid of the dark, told by a warm narrator.”
  • “Turn my product photo into an 8-second cinematic ad with a slow push-in: [paste image link]”
  • “Make a 1-minute scary story video called “The house at the end of the road”, with a creepy narrator and captions.”
  • “Make an ultra-quality 8-second shot of a car drifting through neon Tokyo streets in the rain, with sound.”

You can also ask “How many credits do I have left?” or “Show me my last videos.”

Good to know

  • It always tells you the price first and waits for your OK before using credits.
  • It costs the same credits as making the video in the ClipNova app. Nothing extra.
  • If a video fails, your credits come back automatically.
  • Every video is also saved in your ClipNova library.
  • You need a ClipNova plan (from $19/mo) to make videos.

  • Create or revoke API keys in Profile → API & MCP. A key is shown once.
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP (stateless, POST). Without a key the server answers 401 with OAuth discovery metadata (MCP authorization spec).
