How it works

From paragraph to cinematic short in 3 simple steps.

— 01 —

Write your scene

One paragraph is enough. Describe the mood, the location, the character beat. The AI breaks it into 4–8 scenes, picks the camera angles and writes the cuts.

— 02 —

Pick the look

Choose a genre, drama, sci-fi, thriller, action, and the AI applies the matching color grade, framing rules and pacing. Override anything, or hit generate.

— 03 —

Render & export

Original score, sound design, captions and graded image, all baked in. Export 16:9 for cinemas and YouTube, 9:16 for socials and 1:1 in one render, ready to download and post yourself.

Loved by creators worldwide.

I pre-visualized my entire short before booking the crew, caught two dead scenes and saved roughly $8,000 in reshoots.

FAQs

Frequently asked.

What is the AI Movie Maker?
AI Movie Maker turns a single paragraph into a multi-scene cinematic short. It writes the cuts, picks the camera angles, applies a genre-matched color grade and composes an original score, all from your prompt, no editing required.
How many scenes can a short have?
Most generated shorts have 4–8 scenes for a 60-second cut, and up to 20 scenes for longer films on paid plans. The AI auto-balances scene length based on the emotional beats in your prompt.
Can I pick a specific look (color grade, lens, etc.)?
Yes. Genre presets (drama, sci-fi, thriller, action, romance) drive the default look, but you can override the color grade, the lens (50mm, anamorphic, telephoto), the aspect ratio and the pacing per scene.
Is the score original or licensed?
The score is original, auto-composed by our music model to match the emotional arc of your scenes. You own commercial rights on paid plans, publish on monetized channels, festivals or in client work.
What aspect ratios are supported?
2.39:1 cinematic, 16:9 standard, 9:16 vertical for socials, 1:1 for feed. Pick before generating, or re-render in another ratio with one click after the fact.
How long can a film be?
Free plans cap at 60 seconds per film. Paid plans go up to 10 minutes per render. For longer-form work, you can chain multi-render projects with consistent characters and locations.
Can the same character appear across scenes?
Yes. Define a character once (look, wardrobe, voice) and the AI keeps them consistent across every scene in your short. You can lock in up to six recurring characters per film on paid plans.
What languages are supported for narration?
30+ languages out of the box, English (US/UK/AU), Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and more. Each language has multiple cinematic narrator voices.
How long does generation take?
A 60-second cinematic short typically renders in 3–5 minutes. Longer films (5+ minutes) take 10–15 minutes. You see live progress per scene as the AI renders.
What does it cost?
Each generated film consumes credits proportional to its length and resolution. Free accounts get a starter pool. Paid plans start at a few cents per minute of rendered film, far cheaper than crew, gear and post-production.
Can I edit the film after generation?
Yes. After generation, you have full editor access: re-cut scenes, swap shots, change the grade, adjust the score, fix captions. Re-render variants in a few minutes.
Do I own commercial rights?
On paid plans, yes, you own commercial rights to every film you generate, including festival submission, monetized publishing and commercial client work.
Where can I share the films?
Everywhere, YouTube, Vimeo, festivals, social platforms, your portfolio, client decks. Pick the right aspect ratio at generation time and export or upload anywhere video is supported.
